Tuesday March 10

Morning math was proving whether an equation was true or not.  It included division, multiplication, adding and subtracting to keep us on our toes. The class went to music and then finished up the morning math and then began some division practice. We are still learning the partial quotient method and most students have an understanding of it. The biggest area of errors is multiplying. Knowing the basic facts and being able to subtract accurately is super important. This work took us to gym time where the class began practicing dribbling as part of basketball skills. When back in class there was time to continue working on their newspaper summary of a character from Refugee.

In the afternoon, the class worked in literature circles on their novels and jobs. After this the fours went to Ms. Tanya and the fives came here for health.

Reminders:
- field trip Thursday, may want to bring hand sanitizer to keep hands clean
